Brain In A Jar（瓶詰めの脳）っていうのは、「自分達が存在してると思っているこの世界は、実は水槽の中の脳が見ているただの幻覚ではないだろうか？」という仮説の話。
彼はコロナのパンデミックで自宅に閉じ込められていた時、同じようなことを感じたのだそう。

そういえば、大学時代の仮想現実か何かの授業の試験で、「この世界は本当に存在していると証明できるか。もしそうならば理由を、もしそう思わなければ理由を」みたいなレポートを書かされたのを覚えてる。
確か私は後者を選択したけど、どんな理由を書いたか忘れちゃったなあ… そんな感じのことをクソ真面目に勉強できた学生時代が懐かしい。
